I had the pleasure of Reading Lion Heart Princess ARC Copy. I rated it 4.5 (rounded up).
As a debut novel you can tell the writing needs a bit of work but the story itself pulled me in I enjoyed it very much!
There was family, betrayal, faith, and adventure. It reminded me a lot of Avatar, Harry Potter, and Kaalena's own unique voice made it blend well. I am super excited to see where this debut author takes us for book number 2.
I do hope to see more worldbuilding in book 2. I am now immersed in Korzon!
No spoilers here, but....this book! This book was so good! It's engaging from the very first page to the last one. Right from the start your pulled in and curious. This author did an incredible job at keeping your curiosity peeked as more and more surprises are revealed as you go. On top of that is was clean (no spice) and an easy read. Growing up it was very important to me to honor God with what I read and there were never enough clean options. I so appreciated that in this book. Ya'll have to give this book a go.You'll love it. I know I did! Can't wait for book #2
I. Could. Not. Put. It. Down! I always try to guess who the bad guy is and I was so wrong. It has been a long time since I've had a book grab my attention right off the bat. I have read 17 books in 2026 now and I'm glad this wasn't the first or it would have made every book after a disappointment. I cannot wait for the next book to come out. Well done!
